En 2010, un exceptionnel sarcophage romain en marbre sculpté est découvert par la douane suisse dans un entrepôt des Ports Francs de Genève. Suite à une minutieuse enquête menée par le Ministère public genevois, en collaboration avec les autorités fédérales suisses et turques, ce magnifique objet s'avère provenir d’une fouille illicite ayant eu lieu près d’Antalya en Turquie. Ordonnée en 2015, la restitution du sarcophage à la Turquie a fait l’objet de divers recours. Mais la saga judiciaire a pris fin et le sarcophage herculéen retournera bientôt dans son pays d’origine. |
