Return of four archaeological objects to Italy

On 9 March 2023, the Swiss Embassy in Italy, the Federal Office of Culture (FOC) and the Art-Law Centre of the University of Geneva returned four ceramics from the current Tuscany and Puglia regions. The restitution was made voluntarily by a Swiss family who contacted the Platform for the Diplomacy of Cultural Heritage. The ceremony, wich took place at the Swiss Institute in Rome, enabled the restitution of four antique vases, three of which are Etruscan, to the Italian Carabinieri for the protection of cultural heritage, in presence of representatives of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
